The State was easily the better show to air on MTV around that time.
Unfortunately most of the sketches are unavailable online, and the DVD they released isn't as good because all of the music that aired on the show had to be dubbed with generic bullshyt because they couldn't get the rights.

The State was funny as shyt. We used to get blowed and watch that and Buzz Kill. Them fools on Buzz Kill were on this trail dressed like Bigfoots and scaring folks and one of them scared this dude so bad he hit him upside the head with a log and split his shyt open
