i get it they wanna do right by Brodie and his family and they should do that but the stable is going nowhere. Brodie brought a more sinister take to it which offset some of the comedy and made for an interesting dynamic.. Now it's nearly all comedy and it's corny to be frank.

Some of the guys got a lot of talent though so yeah keep the talent around but enough with the stable.

Dark Order should had just stayed a legit meme and just parish into AEW Dark (literally). Then Brodie came through which really put a big element of stature to Dark Order. Now they got to be taken seriously because Brodie Lee was a legit beast. Then Brodie died ......................and after months The Dark Order shyts up AEW. They should had just just bowed out gracefully after that Brodie Lee tribute night. Years later have his son appear as a legit psychopath to avenge his father and create a stable of devious killers. Thus, you have a promising story etch in stone (if AEW lives that long), a rebuild of a failed stable, and a promising wrestler that has a backstory to fall back on.

But lmaoZzZ, lets has these goofs run out every fukking week because

They'll go down as WOAT if they don't disband. With Retribution they at least ended up pulling the plug on that disaster.

They were leaning into comedy even before Brodie passed, however, he was still credible and that gave the stable credibility. I always assumed had things gone so differently that he would have returned a lot more vicious and sadistic and gotten the Dark Order back in line and on it's purpose. Unfortunately.........he passed and any chance at legitimacy for that stable. They were in limbo as comedy heels as Brodie fought for his life and immediately faces after his death. They had no credibility without him so they just have to be goofy faces. It is what it is.

Colt standing there waving like somebody's dad while everyone else mean mugs and does The Dark Order hand gesture is still top ten character acting to me

Him doing it extra hard at the Brodie show made me tear up

Been said they need to switch up the color scheme, put them in white, call them The Exalted Ones and let them lean in to Brodie's legacy, since they want to keep this going like it's actually a thing that should be connected to Brodie to that level. Run the whole group as a vehicle to get Silver over to an eventual TNT title run down the line - no one else got upside until 10 is more seasoned. Keep Brodie Jr. off TV and use Evil Uno as a mouthpiece so that boy can try and manage some semblance of a normal life instead of spending most his time with grown folk.

It was clearly a gimmick intended to be the land of misfit toys, but they swerved themselves by putting Brodie in the group instead of making them a Broken Matt cult like they prolly should have, so now they're stuck running a trash gimmick because they convinced themselves it is tied to Huber, but this ain't the way to honor dude. Fittyleven members but only 2 with potential upside? Hate to see it.
