Black Racer is the embodiment of death in DCU nothing can escape him. This is like if Whis' father fought Beerus. You don't read comics I get it. It's okay to say you don't.My bad he was already killed by a wack wanna be flash character black racer

Darkseid's death killed the multiverse not one universe but all of them. He ate the Earth 2 universe by himself. Beerus doesn't have any type of power like that.We have no clue how strong Beerus is. This nikka hasn't shown us a hint of his true power at all.
And if he was to ever start training rather than sleep for decades at a time he would be next level.

Remember his Thanos lost the IG? He's not above stupidity.Depends on who's writing. 95% of the time where writers ignore "True Form" Darkseid and write him as a strong tough guy with seeking laser eyes, he's not touching Beerus.
Morrison's retcon doesn't even totally make sense when you consider stories like Hunter/Prey, Apokalips Now, Darkseid War, and the current Justice League: Odyssey. In all of those stories, Darkseid is very much a physical being rather than this metaphysical being who uses avatars that his fans like to pretend is the norm.
Also, that Death Battle video is silly. No, I don't think that even IG Thanos could beat Morrison's True Form Darkseid, but Thanos had to be an idiot to step through a portal, outside of the universe that the Gauntlet controlled in order to confront Darkseid's true self.
Nah makes perfect sense. Darkseid is the embodiment of evil, he's an abstract. Evil is eternal.
Remember his Thanos lost the IG? He's not above stupidity.
Also Hunter/Prey doesn't negate true Darkseid notion. His true form can't fit in our universe. It's too big. I feel like Morrison drew on TGDS mythos as he loves silver age stuff.
Could it be said that the hunter prey writers ignored established cannon like TGDS to allow Doomsday to look good? No, Thanos isn't above subconscious self sabotage, but him walking through a boomtube to an unknown location when he should be aware that the Gauntlet won't work is idiocy. Especially considering that the Gauntlet would allow him to banish extra-dinensional beings from the universe that the Gauntlet controls. He did just that to the Olympians and Asgardians during Infinity Gauntlet. Realistically, that fight should have ended in a stalemate, with Darkseid's avatars posing no threat to IG Thanos, and Thanos not being able to affect True Form Darkseid.
And I disagree. In Hunter/Prey, Doomsday whooped Darkseid's ass on Apokalips, part of the Fourth World that exists outside of the main DC Universe. Same with Superman whooping his ass during Apokalips Now on Apokalips. Morrison ignored inconvient parts of Darkseid's continuity to tell his story. It was a really good story, and he isn't the first writer to do it, but it is what it is.
Again, I have no real issue Morrison, as he probably has the greatest grasp of the New Gods of any writer since Kirby, but it's kinda silly to pretend that everyone who writes those characters follows his blueprint.
