Part two is DOPE, I like it better than most God of War games (I'd relate the combat and player growth to that over Zelda but I see the relation for sure). The first one though, I kinda hated, loved the plot but the combat and clunkiness was rough. If they cleaned that up and sped up the responsiveness, it might be worth a look but I doubt they do all that.

There is a better selection last gen compared to the current. Granted we are only a few years in but i would assume the industry would pick up were it left off . That isn't the case so far, there are a lot of great games but there is a huge void in a few genres

Remember last Gen when this type of shyt was collections?
Like for games to be remastered into HD was an actual noticeable difference. Not only did they remaster games from SD to HD but it almost always was like 3 game collections.
Nowadays they just port over the pc copy slap remaster on it and don't even bundle it with another game

I definitely don't take console stannery serious. I respond to absurdity with absurdity, which goes over some peoples heads.
It's easy to respond with smilies on here when a person doesn't have a valid point to present in response to a statement. Which is cool with me, cause contrary to what you might hear, I don't take it THAT serious. If there's a discussion with some momentum I'll chime in. Otherwise, it doesn't affect my day.
You said this gen should have picked up where the last one left off. I believe it did, and it consistently has been doing everything possible to push gaming further than ever before. I linked the old thread because I didn't feel like reiterating the reasons.

For me a fes genres haven't taken off yet and thats 3rd Person shooters,Rpgs and action games. There really isn't a compelling game for both, sure we got some good ones but nothing really outdoing the previous gen. But as always its all opinions
I've been having fun with games just as much as ever. I think generally gamers have gotten older and tend to see things through the lens of nostalgia. MGSVTPP with all of its flaws is an example of a game that took everything from last gen and improved upon it greatly. My only disappointment is the lack of local multiplayer games. So much is being focused on online.Valid Point

They should have did both games in one package. I'll admit both games were underrated in their original run.
I really like this series.
Not going to buy this or 2's remaster(i have both on my laptop already) but im day one for a sequel.
Crazy that Darksiders 2 and Sleeping Dogs came out on the same day, i day one'd both, beat both and now im waiting for sequels that may never come...although Darksiders 3 actually has a chance. Sleeping Dogs 2...maybe next lifetime
