All the bullshyt ass sports in the Olympics they not getting rid of flag football :pachaha:

He wasn't hating on nikkas like Noah Lyles was either

Flag football as a sport is under the same optional banner that breakdancing was this Olympics. Breakdancing isn't coming back and there's no reason to imagine this would come back.

Yes, we are.

Each Olympics host now is allowed to select sports that are not part of the traditional programs specifically for their games. Paris wanted breakdancing for 2024 and it was approved. LA wanted flag football for 2028 and it was approved.

3x3 IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAME.
THE MOST SKILLED PLAYERS
DONT USUALLY WIN THOSE TOURNEYS

I get it’s a little different, but it’s still a form of basketball. How different is it from the Big 3? I know any high level current player would run some shyt like that

They dont stop in Fiba 3 x 3. You don't stop to take the ball out from the top of the key, you jut keep going after a made basket.

Not saying there is or isn’t differences or nuances but I played in a league where Chris Cooley played QB and was beastin. He wasn’t even taking off. Just throwing that hoe and that nikka played TE in the league.

MUCH DIFFERENT THAN THE BIG3.
THATS MORE NBA STYLE.

FIBA IS A INSANE PACED
NON STOP GAME OF ATTRITION.

PLAY DOESNT STOP ON A MADE BUCKET.

After a made basket, you just grab the ball and take it back to three, ref isnt involved. so basically you just running.

It's just a way quicker pace than the big 3
I’m following, so basically more possessions than the washed league. Generally the better team wants more possessions in a given sport, so the variability averages out

You said it’s more than skill (I’m assuming physicality, and now stamina, are the other aspects), but if they got acclimated to that (which I would give the benefit of the doubt since they can adjust to FIBA rules), I would think more possessions would separate who was actually better at the sport

Very interesting insight. I guess those top tier athletes are just that coordinated and have great vision.

THE ISSUE IS
THESE FIBA BALL DUDES PLAY YEAR ROUND...

YOU ARENT JUST ABOUT
TO SUIT UP FOR A TOURNEY
HERE AND THERE AND THINK
YOURE GONNA BE ABLE
TO BEAT THEM AT THEIR GAME.

It's much more physical and rewards post play and 1 on 1 skills which isn't even etched into the DNA of the newer generation of hoopers. The AAU ball is life era players didn't even have coaches that wanted them to play that way
