Wow. No guaranteed money in football. Do you guys think this will affect the way he plays? More so, will he be more worried about making it through the year instead of going hard on the field.

Bucs won in this trade...

ACL injuries aren't what they used to be, Revis will return back to form and they got him with no guaranteed money...

A 1st and a conditional 4th for a HOF CB in his prime is borderline robbery status...

theyre paying him 16 mill. insane. He'll be cut in two years anyway.

Jets had 3 choices.

Give him 16 mill (which is retarded and was never happening)

take the conditional 3rd after he walks next year

or trade him for the 13th pick in the draft.

If they signed him to that contract he just got he'd be a 19 mill hit.

Ya, This was definitely the right moves for the Jets. Thought the Jets might have been able to squeeze out one more pick, maybe a 6. But for a guy coming off a ACL wanting 16 million per. I'd say it is alright.

Better then a 2015 3rd comp pick.

it amazes me how ppl still dont grasp the cap...this isnt the MLB.

you dont give CB's 16 mill when youre rebuilding.
