that's such a bad idea to take a QB this year. If they're doing that, then Idzik has no idea how bad this team can be. The last thing I want is for us to have a top 3 pick next year, be in a position to take Bridgewater and pass him up because we love E.J. Manuel's upside or Ryan Nassib or (gasp) Matt Barkley.


What will make it worse is that the QB competition will never be a fair fight because that QB will never get a chance to start over Rex's son Fez.

I wouldn't be pissed if we picked Manuel. But like you said I'd rather have Bridgewater.

But the more I think about it, how do we know that the Jets are gonna be that bad to get Teddy. We'd have to be a bottom 3 team to get him, and I'm not sure we will be that bad. Even then though, we'd still be in a position to get some other solid QBs.

Look at that schedule. Look at our offense. And that's assuming

a) we draft rookies to fill needs

b) they all pan out on some Seahawks /Colts shyt.

This is a rebuilding year, a transition year. The worst is yet to come.
