No he shouldn't because he played zero part in our losing today. Our defense gave up +30 points and Geno went 64% and 2 TDs with no running game or game prep. So he held onto the ball trying to make a play in the last 2 minutes? So what?
holding the ball like that is whats going to prevent him from being a starter. He physically throws the ball better than Fitzpatrick but those brain farts especially in the 4th qtr cant happen. The first sack he took he didnt even realize the ref ran the clock. He also cant be taking shots like he did on the scramble when he's the only healthy QB on the roster- get out of bounds.
That being said Bowles and the defense needs to fix that shyt.
