Simply for the sake of discussion are you okay with people being fired for things they say on their private Social Media pages? Again, I would have fired her ass too, but as generality are we doing too much by always having big brother eyeing peoples Facebook pages, twitter etc?

I'm for it and against it( if that makes sense ).

Lets say I own a private business, as long as you aren't a racist I don't care what you put on your page, but if that person somehow affects the business by people/customers complaining about you, you kinda force my hand.

We already have a company policy at my job about social networks and they tend to let us know about it every other month...lol So if i go on my FB page and say "fukk the white man" and one of my co-workers see it and complain to HR. In the end I can't get mad.

So its like I don't always agree, but I understand.
