It was a solid show. The main event finish fukked it up.

The Triple H/Stephanie stuff is frustrating as hell. Triple H seems to get it and have moments of brilliance with the new direction, the young talent, the storylines etc. etc. and then there's so many stupid minor things that don't make any sense at all. Why wouldn't they be at the show storyline was? Why on earth would they think people would be satisfied with that finish?

I don't believe they thought people would be satisfied with that finish. What's unbelievable is that they thought that finish would make people care a bout another Bryan vs Orton title match and interested on what will happen to the Big Show.

It's amazing to me how clueless they are in terms of stretching things out in an angle. They take the most complicated and moronic paths to advance storylines that only need simplicity.

DANIEL BRYAN VS. RANDY ORTON FOR VACANT WWE TITLE

Wow was this a bad finish. Bryan had Orton in the Yes lock when Big Show came out and took out ref John Cone. Show then knocked out Bryan and Brad Maddox ordered Scott Armstrong (yes, he's back) to count the fall. Suddenly, Show turned again and knocked out Armstrong. Orton started yelling at Show. Show then knocked out Orton. And then the show ended. The match was good up to that point, but again, nowhere close to several of their TV matches. It sets up Hell in a Cell so in a sense it's logical to do the finish, but not sure if this was the time to do it given the last few shows.

It kinda makes sense considering if either Bryan or Orton won that match the angle would've ended TANIGHT, dawg.

Bryan winning: Orton really looks bad amidst his return to the sadistic viper only to lose his first title match as a full on sadist. Also, third time's the charm and yet another screwy title stripping would hurt Bryan and the angle itself.

Orton winning: what incentive would Orton as well as the Mcmahons have for giving Bryan yet another shot after he beat Bryan with no championship advantage, this would be his fourth straight title opportunity and no one wants to see the same main event four PPVs in a row I don't care who you are. It'd be Sheamus/ADR all over again. Also HHH would've came out of this angle the winner.

When you can't have a finish in a feud that already has had a ton of fukk finishes, then you don't book that match. There were ways to book this PPV without Bryan and Orton fighting for the title.

And fukk, if you are gonna book another fukk finish, at least make it interesting and not revolve around a third player that's gonna add nothing to table.

:whoa: just playin devil's advocate bruh

the problem with that is the title would still be vacant and if not Bryan and Orton fighting for the title then who currently should fight for it?

A vacant title, two competitors and the new champion would only be able to get it by pinfall or submission. A DQ on either side wouldn't crown a new champ and the only other option would be HHH handing it back to Orton.
