Dating a girl for two and a half months....birthday is this weekend

I've been in your shoes three times, and I approached each situation, the same way. Each time, I felt like a gift was too much, too soon; so I thought about what type of person she was, and our past conversations, then catered an evening to them.
The first girl, mentioned how much she loved shark week, a few times, so I took her to the Georgia Aquarium, and then we hit up a nice restaurant. The second chick was really into Jazz, so I cooked an early dinner, and took her to a jazz club(cafe 290). The third girl was only 20, so I took her to Six Flags, and then hit up Atlantic Station, later in the night.
Some might think I was tripping, but I like having a good time, and I didn't break the bank. That was all stuff I would've done sans them anyway so, it's a win win in my book.

I was in a similar situation a few years ago. Had just started seeing homegirl (bout 3 months) and her bday was coming up. Not that i was feeling her like that but the problem was she got me a nice ass gift for X-Mas and my bday (6 days apart) and this was within the first 5 weeks of us starting to go out. So i felt a bit uncomfortable to NOT get her something.
I spent about $67 and she loved the gift. I normally wouldnt do that for a chick im not really into like that but you gotta be nice to those who care about you even if it's not reciprocal. Or like @posterchild336 just said, dinner is a safe bet.
