Men, especially black men, don't age the same way women do. Perhaps this is due to evolution ensuring that the dominant group in a species remained fertile. Many men are attractive well into their 60s, so long as they eat right and remain in shape. That's why, at my age of 38, I'm in no rush to settle down. I will probably not find my wife until I'm 50. My uncle didn't have his first child until he was 53.

Just came to say, I agree. One thing I have now that I didn't have before is women penny picking my brain about stuff and having input.

A few people at work are trying to hook me up with a sista in a different location.

I asked one of them why and she said "you seem like a goodbye guy with his stuff together."

Called me handsome and intelligent. Now I still take offense to the handsome word, but now I have women trying to hook me up with their friends, not to mention a few throwing themselves at me on the sly.

I get that, but it's new to me, especially since I keep to myself. It was one thing to evolve and learn how to get women, it's entirely different now that women I'm not even getting at think I am a catch. I found out Thursday that I'm pretty popular at the various locations at work, and it only got to me because a group of women wanted to set me up with this Myra Monkhouse type chick. When I started getting money and began to dress how I like(khakis, dressy skate shoes, fitted polos and watches) I started getting complimented on the regular. I'm only seeing now how easy this shyt can be outside of work, and now even inside of it. Imma be an a$$hole when I get my own spot in a few months.

I should have expanded on that, early on, women have much more to lose when selecting a partner. There is the whole reproduction thing. The partner a woman has a child with is a huge deal for couples and women especially. Makes total sense. Men's drive is to get with as many of them as possible.

As women get out of their 'biological child bearing prime', they have less to lose picking a partner. Maybe they have already had kids. Maybe they don't want kids. There is less risk and more upside for them getting a partner.

Men on the other hand may think they have more to lose themselves picking a partner later in life. Maybe they too have already had kids or don't want them. If you settle down with this one, are you going to miss out on something later or or will she wreck your finances..yadada.

That's my take, BTW, not one of these incel dudes. Have just observed this and my this is my hot take. Have been married a long time now and don't think I would do it again if something happened.
