I think Da King is the GOAT poster, it's not even up for debate anymore. Should rename TSC to DKC (Da King's Circle) :salute:
You went from a decent poster to :francis:

:snoop:

Of course Owens is getting bigger pops cause he's been on the main roster for 13 months. Zayn wasn't official until Feb/March.

And cats are rhythm chanting along with his song; eventually it'll catch on and get bigger.

Plus he contradicted himself by comparing Zayn to Owens who is another "indy guy" who has a non-conventional WWE look. :skip:

He's already showing those Jester tendencies.

Too many indy guys?

replace Cesaro and Zayn with Jack Swagger and Darren Young and see how them crowd reactions work out for you
Only because the crowd has already decided that they aren't cheering for certain guys.

They have decided that if someone is indy they are already on some kind of invisible pedestal above the home grown talent. People are cheering for heels and not allowing storylines to work, it's really killing WWE.

What storylines? :mjlol:

Song is more over than he is, similar to the "yes" chant arguably being more over than Daniel TA

Because this worked out for Fandango....

Exactly

I got love for DC Dave but this summary kind of shows just how out of touch and how self absorbed he was about his return.

First of all, with wrestling or any sort of return, timing is everything. If he didn't know that, its his fault for not paying attention. He chose to come back during the WrestleMania build up for WM30, arguably the biggest ever but didn't seem have any sort of perspective on the fan mentality or the product direction. We had just spend 3 consecutive years of returning stars, all of which are bigger names than Batista is/was. There was a HUGE divide amongst the audience who wanted homegrown workers vs. Superstars with a good look to the point the fans were forcing the WWE's hand. It started with CM Punk and trickled down to Daniel Bryan, the fans weren't just going to accept another one of "their guys" getting screwed over for the "Returning superstar of the year".

I get Batista wanted to make HIS return and be the returning superstar but his timing couldn't have been worse. The fact he chose WM30 showed he was more concerned about the hype, press and money or else he would have returned at a Battleground PPV or even Summerslam instead. He came back not looking the same, noticeably smaller and while he was gone, the bar of in ring expectations had been raised to a level he couldn't consistently do.

And on the security escorting him out... that sucks but its standard practice for high level employee leaving on less than ideal circumstances.

Fourth, the WWE had been on a youth movement, he should have expected to do jobs instead of going over on everyone

This is true Batista left the company being one of those roided up terrible workers that had the look. I hated that shyt and dbry was super over and should have been the guy to be pushed from the jump. We were worried they would bring this guy back and force his very average wrestling ass back to the top and Bryan would be over looked. THATS why he was booed. Now you can blame Vince but let's be honest if he was a better worker it would have almost been ok, I'm glad to hear he knew he should have been heel but did he also know this wasn't his time to comeback to win the title?

Only because the crowd has already decided that they aren't cheering for certain guys.

Naw see the problem with home grown talent is they can't work they are all gimmick and most of the time a corny gimmick. People cheer for guys that are entertaining and most of the time it's heels cause they are allowed to act like normal people and not these cornball fairytale like good guys. Wwe doesn't know how to create likeable baby face character because they don't know the type of personalities people like.

Fandango's gimmick was his downfall. :comeon:
Yet Val Venis and Disco Inferno got the exact same gimmick over and ate off it for years.

There's nothing else to say :mjlol:

So the Yes! chant isn't so big that it's been used to get Big Show and Stephanie over when needed?

What is Sami Zayn's gimmick exactly, and is it not "corny?"

What does Val or Disco have to do with this? :what:

No one ever chanted to their theme.

Val was over for his porn star gimmick. Disco was never over. :dead:

I'm not even gonna respond to that yes chant. My point went over your head. :mjlol:
