Didn't Hollywood writers and actors just have a strike to change terms since the 2008 strike which basically introduced how revenue sharing in the digital age would work? Why are musicians sitting on their asses still?

I thought 50 sold/loaned his masters of Get Rich or Die Trying for money?I think other major artists are locked in bad contracts that they didn’t know about. Ross was just talking about 50 and not owning his first album masters. I don’t know how accurate he is but for him to say something about it makes everyone wonder if he’s right or not. He spoke about it so freely.
