What exactly do people want him to say or do? I don't know how long he's been in America, but I'm pretty sure he's spent majority of his life here than in Palestine. To my knowledge, he's never said or done anything political so why should you expect him to say or do anything now?

Honestly has he ever even acknowledged what's going on. Put up a prayer emoji at bare minimum even. You don't get why one of the most visible Palestinian celebrities in the world looks awkward being silent on a genocide of his people? He don't even have to say anything political. Just something. There's no way eyes wouldn't be on him. People who are public figures or celebrities and trying to duck dealing with social responsibility that comes with being influential just come off like trash humans. Like he doesn't have to do anything but doing nothing at all is also damning.


Anyone who is going to be famous need to accept some part of them belongs to the people.

It’s less because of offending people and more about algorithm managing and ban dodging. Platforms like TikTok and even YouTube have certain/specific terms that get your content either delisted or demonetized

Oh yes I'm aware of why they do it. I'm just saying, I know AI is in it's infancy, but based on what I've seen it able to do, it can handle some nuance fairly well. It should be able to tell when a video is just delivering the news about something negative that happened, and when some people are just being a$$holes. And if it can do that, use it to stop all this "coded" language. I have no doubt we'll get past the need to do that, and we'll look back on videos around this era and be like, "Damn.....is that what we really had to do, just to deliver the news?".
