He was way too soft on him. And a few friends of mine have seen him on tour and said he had more Donald trump jokes but he didn't do them in this special.
Better special than his last one though. Conservatives are FULL of material that he could mine. Off the top of my head:
1. The irony around the fact that this man died while attempting to distract from the mass violence his people commit regularly by trying to consider "gang violence" a large part of the mash shooting statistics.
2. The irony around the fact that he's defending gun rights when most of the people being killed by guns are HIS people.
3. The immediate pivot into trying to milk his death for publicity and money including his memorial looking like wrestlemania.
4. The irony of JD vance going on and on about christianity while accepting money from a homosexual that looks like a literal devil.
5. All of these guys looking like actual monsters and demons(elon musk being built like a cardboard box with legs, marco rubio looking like a child and a washed adult at the same time, mar a lago face, etc.) while thinking that they are part of the "master race"
6. The blatant dikksucking of israel and literally sending money to Argentina whilst mfs who voted for this clown expected financial relief
I could go on and on, but its likely that because he's close with Joe Rogan and the other magats he be hangin out with, he didn't want to piss them off too much. Lets not forget he brought out Elon Musk at one of his shows and thought that he would get laughs and had to look dumb as hell trying to defend him from an audience that was pissed off that he brought an incredibly unfunny charisma void of a person on to the stage who is also an apartheid era white supremacist.
Like I said though, better special than the last one. I liked it, especially his story around Jack Johnson, but I expected him to tie it to a larger point, but he didn't. Like I was expecting him to make a link between how black people make everything they're barred from exciting once they step into it and how america is now in its most swagless era now that open racism is back on the menu and in government. But then how he's looking forward to the people who will be "unstoppable Ns" who will persevere despite that and become new legends.
