It's strange because the general feeling is that SNL was funny when it started, then was awful in the 80s after Eddie and Joe Piscopo left...then got really good in the 90s.
But I feel like SNL hasn't been really good in like 15-20 years now.
That last era where they had guys like Will Ferrell and Darrell Hammond was the last time I thought SNL was worth watching.
The show has the occasional good sketch now and then. But it's inconsistent.

Because part of what makes you like or be entertained by a comedian is their ethos but now that he’s rolling with Rogan and Musk and constantly attacking transpeople it makes his character questionable
It’s pretty hard to come back from Rogan and Musk; you can’t really draw a line from hanging out with people like Rogan and Musk because they don’t shy away from what they stand for.
