Now that dave is in shape, he doesn't have that carefree spirit anymore. The guy thinks too much when he's been on stage lately, it's like all the focus now is on his physique.

OK so I saw Dave live Wednesday night. He was great, what really made the show worth it was his opener Donelle Rawlings....this dude killed it. I would see him by himself or a headliner. I find myself thinking back on some of the shyt he said and laughing out loud. The dullest moment of the show was waiting for it to start, DR came out wildin.
Saw him last year at the Tanernacle in Atlanta and yes, Rawlings KILLED it. Dude's energy is crazy.
Chappelle is still funny as hell. His set was great. I wish he'd at least drop a new special

C'mon. Breh is still a good writer and funny as fukk. Nothing but respect for dude.Whatever, it will never be how it was in '03 with Chapelle's show and everything else he had going. You can't recreate that type of energy - it's once in a lifetime. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment.
