Druski's last skit almost has 100 million views, I mean it's cool to be a hater be let's not be retarded
I ain’t a Druski fan at all but he should have his own show with his own writers/staff.

Peopke actually think he’s the guy right now. He should find one of his peers and get his own show poppin. As for this… I mean I’m cool with the old show but I won’t tell Dave to not do it.

Unless you were there, you’d have to understand the timing and cultural significance of Chappelle’s show.

This was first broadcasted in January 2003. We were less than 2 years removed from 9/11. America was in a somber place. Bush had ‘won’ a clearly rigged election. The Iraq war had just started. Everything seemed dark and despondent.

Chappelle’s show was needed to hold the mirror up to America and its jingoism it was sliding into. The 90s seemed like a relic compared to the fascist era America was becoming.

Satire is needed at times like that and Chappelle’s show was the perfect vehicle for it. The right amount humor and levity was what made the show a cultural phenomenon. That reparations sketch was way ahead of its time.

However, with Charlie Murphy and Paul Mooney now no longer with us, it just wouldn’t have that same bite that it had.

The landscape of politics and comedy has changed too much for it to have the same impact. Social media and influencers have diluted entertainment to the point it’s become innocuous.

I mean, I’d still watch but I just know it would be a pale imitation of what it was.

If I've learned anything it's that I don't want to know about it unless it's done. If he really wanted to do it it would be on the roll before they told us about it because they would be dying to churn out the ideas and present them. Creativity happens in waves.
