East still got bars.

Lyrically, I dig what he's doing. Still not happy with what happened to bro's voice, but he ain't no slouch with the raps.

These beats are wack, to me, though. Same generic sh*t Araab's been doing forever. No soul in his production and there's no knock. These don’t bang. I would like East to get back in with V Don for a whole project, or maybe even someone like Daringer or Conductor Williams. Araab's sh*t sounds too lazy and dry for me.

Nice album. Story telling Dave East is the best version and AraabMuzik laced him up. A lot of rappers need to take note of that one producer album instead of having 35 producers for 20 songs.

Meh,
Dave East by no means is trash or anything, but he's just there....if Slaughterhouse ever made a comeback, he'd fit in perfectly as a new member. Generic.

I like Araabmuzik though, some of his best work from Dipset days could really get you hyped up.

Dave East would NOT fit in Slaughterhouse :mjlol: He would not at all match up with any of them on any one of these songs, and there’s nothing wrong with that. That’s not his lane.

The production FleeLord gets his shyt off on is the shyt East, needs.

East production is good though. He not trying to to go all the way grimey. There is still a part of East that wants bigger name producers. All these “established” artists look for names obviously. He probably don’t listen to Flee Lord or artists in that lane so he wouldn’t even be tapped in like that. It would be nice to hear but I think he found his niche.

He definitely does. He’s in that circle with them. I’ve seen him with OT the Real, Flee, etc… Spesh, Benny and all them. Flee got grimey shyt but he got shyt, East would sound great on.

I think a Harry Fraud project would be hella dope too

He had some on HOFFA and that was his last decent album to me with replay value
