I'm on a weird place with this show. I've been looking it so far, but Dave's whiny voice and general disposition gets on my nerves. It's strange to like all the characters except the main one

He's the worst character.....so annoying

Seinfeld was the same way...Jerry was the most annoying one

Really liked this last ep too and seems like the show is going to keep switching gears but give all its characters shine which is dope. I feel like it’s flesh out the every part of the artist’s come up and not just the artist struggles which is refreshing.

Trippie coming back was surprising too. I know he playing himself but he kinda killed it lol. All the guest artist been so natural on this. Really fxn dope.

I haven’t followed him until I started watching the show. Based on the few interviews and free styles I’ve watched on YT, I think he exaggerates his nerdy white guy persona. So it takes more people by surprise when he starts rapping.

I refuse to believe someone that can spit like that is that awkward in real life.

I think FX puts the explicit shows on FXX. that's why sunny is on there. I don't remember what channel atlanta is on, but they don't say "fukk" nearly as much as they do on dave.

luckily, it's on HULU as well, and most people these days have access to that.

Breeders and Snowfall are on FX and they say "fukk" all the time. FXX is centered more around comedy shows that appeal to young males, though. Its lineup is mostly comedy.

They toned down the Dave thing you mention in the last few episodes

I’ve somewhat wished the same re: the rest of your post but just in general...we hardly have any quirky black sitcoms...truth be told ‘atlanta’ and ‘insecure’ are literally the only ones that come to mind
