aziz getting cancelled on some bullshyt is what really derailed master of none. season 3 wasn't NEARLY as good as the first 2 seasons. I wasn't that interested in seeing a full season of lena waithe's character.

Dave was a massive hit for FX. Kevin Hart was part of production, LeBron was watching and commenting, etc.


dikky is the one who gets the celebs onto the show. I think his manager is scooter braun so that helps as well.

I remember dikky saying he wanted to focus on his music and maybe even pursue a movie. I'm sure FX would have liked the show to still be going.

My understanding is it’s a bubble show and FX hasn’t renewed yet, their choice

Past seasons were delayed/ slowed down with Dave working on music. But from what I’ve seen in recent interviews, the cast wants and is waiting on a renewal that may or may not come from the network

Show has a cult following and big names involved but I’m not confident it makes a lot of money for the network

Funny enough. I saw this thread yesterday and this morning my daughter was watching yt and he was in an internet ad, where he made a whole song.

Made me think the show will be back soon.

It’s pretty obvious it ain’t coming back. Dave was a bubble show and there’s no way they recouped after that last season. FX couldn’t justify giving them another season. dikky had already met Drake so it still ended well
