I like how the first three episodes were freaking hilarious and then it starting to scale back. It's still funny, but its not over the top anymore and it's becoming more story based. If the whole season was like the first three episodes, then I can see the show burning itself out. The humor and story is more balanced now. That'll give the show longer legs to succeed on

Gotta be trill with you brehs. The first ep for sure and maybe the next two was ASSSS but ep 5 onward is straight HEAT
This sht genuinely has ups and downs, great writing for both drama and comedy, and unique scenarios.

I love all the celebrity appearances. They take a or moment to a and they actually nail their parts even if they just doing themselves they all translated well on screen within what the script asks for. Doesn’t seem forced at all either, like all the characters really meeting these superstars.

Find it kinda odd, as some arrogance and entitlement bleeding into the writing, but it works for the show that everything miraculously goes well for Dave and his crew. So many shows are about people being right there to their big break but never make it. Interesting to see the other side with a crew that’s still “losers” lol.

If it keeps going the way it’s been going eps 5-8, we’ve got a classic on our hands.
