I like how the first three episodes were freaking hilarious and then it starting to scale back. It's still funny, but its not over the top anymore and it's becoming more story based. If the whole season was like the first three episodes, then I can see the show burning itself out. The humor and story is more balanced now. That'll give the show longer legs to succeed on

OK so it's not just me. I thought the first few episodes were funny as fukk and then they started getting more into the story. I like the over the top funny ones though.

Yeah I had to rewatch the Young Thug episode to make sure I didn't miss something in that episode. I think that was the first episode where they started scaling thing back.

The Gata episode may be my favorite so far, but Talent Shows is trailing closely behind it. I thought the sequence of Dave going through those curtains and embracing the moment on stage was a great way to seal it. I notice some of these episodes end abruptly and awkwardly, but Talent Shows really comes full circle with its ending.
