No doubt. Kinda like Denzel and Ray Allen in He Got Game.
Loved how the game was a way of showcasing the tension between them and a subtle way of both discussing their beef through the intensity. Throwing the ball off of Elz on the trap and Elz pulling a LeBron and freighttraining Dave for the game shot said a lot.

with ali, Mike, eventually Gata (they've been slowly setting up a future beef with them all season) I get why dave is in the wrong. With Elz all of his screen time (except the ending of this weeks episode) in s2 is just him being cold, rude and aggressive with no context. plus hes doing coke now.

Yeah, and honestly it could be something else bothering him that Dave isn’t even a part of. I saw two people on Twitter mention the Ally/Elz possibility but that would be incredibly tacky and wouldn’t quite line up.

It’s weird. Everytime I empathize with Elz’s character, he turns right around and does something to tip his unlikeability further through the roof. Curious to see where this goes.

I definitely think Ally’s texting another guy at this point, but I don’t think it’s Elz.
