they have mentioned this in season 1, but gata's first name is "davionta". maybe his nickname to his momma is dave as well.

Yeah, but no one ever referred to him as Dave until his sister in this episode.

That was a great finale. They could have easily milked the Gata/Dave fight and had us wondering what happens between seasons. Great decision to have them patch it up. I hated seeing them fight so a happy ending really felt earned after all the struggles this season.

When Gata took the stage with Dave:

When Emma walked through the door. She looked like she had a little quarantine weight on her earlier in the season but not this one

The streets need that Atlanta/Dave crossover. That shyt would be like Infinity War on the small screen

They're both Dave. When the name lit up as they were both on stage telling the audience that the show is about both of them

The really have a clean slate for season 3 and can go in any direction.

This show is gonna get nominated for an Emmy and/or Golden Globe. Lil’ dikky deserves it and this season certified the series as being one of the best shows on television.

I know it’s highly unlikely it won’t happen. But there has to be mash up episode of Dave and “Atlanta.”

At the very least, I need these two to premiere side by side on FX.

I wonder, was Mike lying when he said Dave Surgery/performance idea was great? Its seems like he was only going along with it because he knew it would fail. He’s already distancing himself away from lil dikky. Not going on the tour and that meeting he had the label executive without Dave.

Obviously, a fan of the show and this season was really well done. So on that note…

I’ll run the whole season back on a weekend come late fall/early winter. In succession. I’ll be paying even closer attention to every detail and nuance.

Bet It’ll hit harder.

overall tho, this show might end up getting dropped for me, too many white boy moments that just don’t hit for me as an adult black woman.
