Cool finale, glad they ended on a high note.

overall tho, this show might end up getting dropped for me, too many white boy moments that just don’t hit for me as an adult black woman.

I’m a forty-ish black woman and Dave has exhibited some behavior that’s why I don not have many white male friends or date white men. The entitlement and selfishness is real. I like the characters around him bringing him down to earth.

think about shows like succession. none of us are billionaire dudes, but I can clearly see and enjoy all the humor in it.

Yeah I thought the same, Mike basically hates him at this point.

And Mike wouldn’t be wrong if he felt that way, but I don’t think he hates him tho. He just giving back the energy that Dave been giving him all season. Hopefully we learn more about Mike in season 3.

Can't lie brehs, I teared up when GaTa started crying (thinking it was because he was sad he lost a friend but was still supporting them from afar) but then realized it was because he finally made it and was performing with Dave.

I have friends with small children who watch inappropriate shows around them *eyeroll* but they taught the littlest the chorus to Kareem, Abdul, Karen Abdul Jabar. I’d post a video if I could hide her little face and not dox myself.

Im embarrassed by how often I find myself singing Ally's Song/Backwards.

Great finale though, most shows have a problem ending their season but Dave has done a great job two seasons in a row. I thought it was going okay but the whole Gata/Dave angle took it to the next level. It was conflict, but I actually felt both sides.

Just like last season, show got better with each episode. Good usage of cameos appearances. And its a legit unpredictable from episode to episode. One of the better comedy shows of 2021
