Thats interesting, I didn't find Earn to be that unlikeable. He just never seemed to be able to "win" or get ahead. This season I actually found Dave to begin to be more unlikeable as season 2 went on but he ultimately redeemed himself at the end

Ok these whole back and forth texts in this episode is VERY realistic. Don’t know how many times I’ve seen people ruin stuff just cause they think just cause they haven’t heard from someone for a bit as if they may not have anything going on. Dave sent all those paragraphs and just nuked his entire date. That “lol” was a goodbye 
I remember this chick that I wanted nothing to do with after a date sent me like 9 paragraphs that o didn’t even halfway read after dissing me way beforehand, and I just sent “cool” and she went absolutely ballistic 
that’s the most I’ve ever had my phone go off. That last messages I actually read from her were “oh so you’re ignoring me now???”, an 8 hour gap, then “hey :-)”

It may be the most realistic thing the show has ever done. Dave may actually be an upgrade for her lol
