They were distancing themselves from him cause they hated that he was ascending in Houston instead of them, so they started riding with Tip. Some guys stayed neutral, but a bunch firmly got behind T.I. simply cause they didn’t like the shine Flip was getting. Should’ve never got to that point, cause all Flip was doing as he was coming up was rapping and hooping.

Real talk it was lame the way they abandoned Flip...jumped all on T.I. sack...all up in his videos, on mixtapes, co-signing him as the King of the South.

I rock with they music but to this day I look at Scarface, Keke, Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Lil 3rd and nem with a slight :rudy:

Z-Ro, C-Note, and Big HAWK bout the only ones from the city who never hated on Flip and held him down while that was goin on. UGK too because they was neutral and cool with both.

Yep, minus Lil 3rd (who’s basically a no dignity having scavenger), the rest of them are some of my faves, but I’ve always looked at them in the same way.

Chamillionaire, Point Blank, and the rest of the Botany Boys held Flip down too.

Only one that really gets a slight pass is 3rd. He was mad Flip took his name or moniker the Leprechaun. The rest should have known better. It was a lot of dudes jealous of Flip even the second generation screw nikka's that never did anything or weren't anywhere. They were mad he did they long freestyle on a screw tape only because they didn't think of it.

" hood beef is hood beef, we suppose to keep it in the hood, this n***@ ain't from Houston Texas why ya'll make him look good?" - Lil Flip

Scarface looked the most foolish out of all of em

Botany Boys were giving a interview, and the interview they said they asked Face about it, and they said face told em he didn't know he was being recorded :shaq2:

Scarface been sketch though

Flip was on fire. Like a pimp and riding spinners and on bet with the Burberry jag. :sas1:

Came back the next year with game over. Then the industry kicked him out for TI:damn:

Scarface tried to sign Flip to Def Jam South when he was president. Even made a cameo in the “I Can Do That” video.

The deal didn’t go through...now all of a sudden it’s “I ain’t never seen that nikka in Cloverland”.

Face a GOAT but that’s textbook sucker shyt.
