That tell you Face was mad Flip didn't sign with him. Flip when still was respectful afterwards and called Face the King. I'd been fukk that nikka. That situation and the Troy situation had Brad looking lame.

I hate when ol school rappers make themselves look weak after all these years.
E-40 made himself look fraud after fukking with Wack 100 when he always bragging about Pac was his friend.

Flip was on fire. Like a pimp and riding spinners and on bet with the Burberry jag. :sas1:

Came back the next year with game over. Then the industry kicked him out for TI:damn:

The industry didn't kick Flip out for T.I. Flip's commercial peak just happened to be around the time he had that "Sunshine" single. T.I. was on the come up and had the streets and dissed Flip in the midst of it all. Flip didn't have a diss or a record in general to overshadow T.I.'s disses or anything to regain the streets, so he ended up with album push backs that set his career back considerably.

When a person that was one of the biggest mainstream rappers just disappear like that. Something behind the scenes happen.

He didn't disappear. Flip performed at The Source Awards in late 2004 in the midst of the beef. He was still getting high profile guest spots.

What happened to Flip is no different than what happens to most rappers in his position: he reached his ceiling and crossed over losing fans in the process. His situation was compounded by the fact that he was dissed by a rapper who was buzzing and he had no comeback.

They both had multiple disses toward each other. The problem was Flip was facing label trouble at the same time T.I. was ascending, on top of various high profile people backing T.I., even though he was firmly in the wrong and the root of the beef in the first place.

when people just fall off they gradually fall off and people stop fukking with their music.
Once they chose tip, flip was over. From platinum to no more major backing or radio or tv nothing. I never seen that happen to nobody else.

It's not always a gradual fall off. Look at Mike Jones. He had everyone screaming "Who? Mike Jones", but by the end of that year, he was an afterthought. Paul Wall had a platinum album, was on a #1 single in "Grillz", and had a feature on a Kanye album, but after "Grillz", his mainstream run was over. Chamillionaire was one of the biggest rappers out, but again, his mainstream run was cut short abruptly.
