They both had multiple disses toward each other. The problem was Flip was facing label trouble at the same time T.I. was ascending, on top of various high profile people backing T.I., even though he was firmly in the wrong and the root of the beef in the first place.

Flip wasn't in label trouble in 2004. Dude had one of the biggest songs out and was fissed at the height of his popularity.

High profile people siding with T.I. is beside the point as well. Same goes for how ridiculous the beef was to begin with (as most beefs are silly and only entertaining because of the songs/disses). T.I. dissed Luda and it was nearly unanimous that Luda killed T.I. Luda was considerably bigger than T.I. and had way more industry respect at that point. It didn't stop T.I.'s momentum and dude was somewhat of a liability because he was fresh out of jail.

It's a big ass stain on that Texas movement in 04-05, the way H-Town rappers did not ride for Flip ... I always look at it as jealousy and a inferiority complex from those guys

Everything isn't chalked up to jealousy or inferiority. Not saying that jealousy or inferiority didn't play a role, but Flip isn't 100% a victim. Again, Ke'Noe isn't someone who was jealous. He produced songs for Flip and already had success with No Limit. He dissed Flip over unpaid fees for production. Ke'Noe isn't even from Houston.

Expecting artists to ride for Flip when all of them are a part of a music business is gullible and naive. Music is their livelihood and a dream come true especially to those who spent their lives trying to get on. They aren't about to not collaborate or do business with someone because they are beefing with the homie or an artist from their own turf.

Yea Face and Lil Keke disappointed me the most through the whole beef. I expected the young guys like Slim Thug and them to hate, but not the OG's. Especially lil Keke because he was SUC with Flip.

His label troubles started in 2005, and him and T.I. were throwing shots at each other well into 2005 as well. They basically stopped everything cause of Pimp C and J Prince the following year.

Forever a Southern classic. Banner has to be one of the few rappers who's radio versions were probably better than the uncensored ones. Touching and Play are the another ones. And Take It Off is probably Pimp's most sampled song. How many other ones had Pimps vocals on a hook or background?

And there's no sense in dissecting what happen in that beef over and over again, especially on here. In hind sight, most people look back and will probably agree T.I. was on some hoe shyt with his hissy fits, especially with how he's been acting lately. Flip just couldnt really figure out a way to convey that, and probably waited too long to release a legit diss. T.I.'s trajectory was always going to go up, regardless of Flip because as much as I hate to admit it, he had two critically acclaimed albums back to back in 03 and 04. Atlanta and it's waive was coming up, and he was a part of that. After Crunk came Trap, and that grip hasn't loosened up since. After the culture was introduced to Screw on a wide scale, which Flip played a big part of, there wasn't a new movement that evolved.

I agree with most of this, but most knew that T.I. started the beef for petty reasons even then, but like most beefs, why or how it started became irrelevant. People cared more about the disses and what happened in Cloverland far more than how it all originated.
