Imagine that. A world where white people are the dominant caste in society and black people are denied opportunities and subject to state sanctioned violence. Spooky.

The problem with this premise is that slavery actually did evolve into a modern institution. And black people talk about the parallels all the time so this is only compelling to deluded white people. Could be good but don't trust the Game of Thrones dudes with this at all.

I know they are partnered with 2 GREAT BLACK WRITERS on this project. But this premise is uncomfortable for me. I guess I'll have to see how it's executed. I already cringe at slavery shows.

But UNDERGROUND was incredible, so maybe they have a fresh way to handle this material, that won't be offensive to black people.
