It would also be interesting if the evolution from a Confederacy win hints at not much difference between the two sides historical trajectory considering institutional slavery is still alive and well.

It is especially concerning considering the lack of black folks in GoT, but at the same time they can say Martin wrote it that way. I want to assume they're smart/aware enough to pull the modern parallels into the script. They can literally pull from newpapers now as inspiration. My curiosity is if they're going to include any black "heroes" and how they portray them. Will we get to see our Harriets and/or Fredericks without them being "led" by the usual white guy? Whenever they do these stories they always want the white folks to get their credit like Django being nothing until the dentist came along and "saved" him
