Nah Lebron and his ego didn't take him seriously. Blatt had a lot of respect around the league. His mistake was coaching Lebron as his first team in the NBA but then again he thought he was going to coach Wiggins and Kyrie.

He shoulda gone for the Warriors Associate Head Coach position. I mean, he was hired for the job 2 years ago before the Cavs reached out to him and Kerr let him out of the agreement to go to the Cavs.
I guess he wouldn't be interested since
1. Bad optics getting canned from one team and going to the team that knocked you out
2. Doesn't want to take an "assistant" job (even though Kerr treats the associate-HC as more of a tag team partner instead of assistant)
2. Probably thinks he has an irreparable reputation around the league after his tumultuous tenure in Cleveland
