I’m not a Knicks fan but they need to just accept they need a full rebuild and stay patient with that plan. Stop expecting some big free agent to come to the team. That shyt is not happening. Unless they hit on some generational talent in the draft this is going to be a 4-5 year process. And I’m just talking about making it a somewhat respectable franchise. Once that happens then they can start dreaming bigger.

Because he showed complete ineptitude at actually coaching; it's less about winning, and more about the direction, progress, and development, which was non-existent. Yes, he wasn't put in a position to succeed given the makeup of the squad, but his rotations, out-dated schemes, running the offense through Julius even after the wheels fell off, player-development, post-game comments, and the one and probably only area he has strength in [motivation], failed him.
