Pretty straight forward. Despite the rhetoric, illegal border crossings from the south have increased under Trump.

That doesn't fall in line with the bad faith argument being pushed by Trump, Twism, Frum and those claiming that Trump is tougher and more effective on illegal immigration than Obama.

The graph is showing the number of interior arrests, it’s showing how ice was arresting less illegal immigrants in the country, it isn’t a graph showing that there was less illegal immigration

What I said was that obama started off enforcing the laws then he backed of, the decrease in the number of arrests internally is evidence of that

I never said anything about the number of illegal immigrants, those numbers are all over the place

No, that's not what those numbers mean.

The US has never endorsed an open borders policy, not even under Obama.

The purpose of these numbers, as @DEAD7 picked up on, is to show that Trump's border policies has not served as a deterrent for illegal border crossings.

Ergo, the more people attempting to cross means there are more people crossing.

Initially, Border crossing arrest shaw a sharp decline due to rhetoric.
