I’d prefer the original metal gear games be remade, maybe even combine metal gear 2 with metal gear solid

I was going into MGSV thinking it would essentially be a remake of the Metal Gear games


Whichever way it’s done, I feel like the streets is needing some remakes

Bluepoint would probably do a 1:1 remake.

I think a remake with a completely different gameplay style would require kojima

Exactly, it’s the only chapter in the series we haven’t really seen done any justice and it explains a lot about what eventually ends up in Metal Gear Solid

Also we only really played as solid snake for two games, this would give us a proper origin story for him

I’m waiting for something official. These MGS remake rumors have been around forever and I think the possibility has gone to zero after the Kojima Konami split.

Sony Acquired Bluepoint officially. And if the Konami rumors are true than this Remake is VERY plausible.

Konami has every right in the world to do whatever they want with the MGS series. Kojima doesn’t have any ownership over it or even the fox engine that was created.

Konami simply isn’t in the business of making video games anymore. They use their game rights for pachinko machines

Which is why it makes sense if bluepoint are the ones making it most likely and I’m sure they’d bring Kojima on as an EP or support

As long as Konami is still being run by the Kagemasa clan, they ain’t letting Kojima anywhere near MGS. Believe that will get put in the contract.

We talking about the same petty ass Konami that sent executives to wipe off sweat at their gyms after pissing off the family.

He's a writer. He just did work on Warrior Nun for Netflix which got renewed for a second season.

Bluepoint is def working on a new remake If it’s not metal gear solid I’d be very surprised. I think they said they would be working on their own IP soon but I don’t think it will be their next game

I’m the meantime Sony needs to put a gun to Konami and drop a remaster for Metal gear Solid 4. That’s the reason I still got my PS3 fat still hooked up.
