To be fair, Halle Berry’s generation of Brehettes was the first that didn’t cook like the prior generations. He probably (wrongly) assumed she would follow suit like the prior generations of women. If I were athlete rich, I’m definitely hiring a cleaning service and a private chef if I know my wife can’t cook. Halle been a city girl all her young adult life. She was not A list in 92. The first time I remember Halle Berry was going to see the movie Strictly Business in theaters and that was 91 she only had two movies role by 92, that & Jungle Fever.

When they got married Halle's name was hot in the BLACK community. She did a lot of black films throughout the entire 90s like Boomerang.

No one will admit this but I never thought Halle was going to crossover to a A list star. I thought her career trajectory was going to be another beautiful black actress from black movies/tvs shows from the 90s/2000s like Fancy from Jamie Foxx or all those black actress from those early 2000s black movies.

He is admitting that he was young and made mistakes

Marrying her without realizing she was not the traditional woman that he was raised around was the mistake he is admitting to.
