David Robinson's 71-point game....Would it be called stat-padding today?

Note....there was no zone and no real double team...(thats why alot of super big stat lines went away)

Stat padding or not he still has to make the shots. How many players can "stat-pad" there way to 71 points while shooting 63% from the field.

I could see if he was shooting something in the low 40's percentage wise but he didn't. Id let somebody throw up 45 shots if they'll make 63% of them every-time.

That's not stat-padding, that's the defense fault for not doubling him. If that's a stat-padding you might as well include kobe's 81 as stat padding too.

My point is what the hell is stat padding? I always figured it was when the game is in hand and you still try to get numbers......

But now its not .....when are the new rules being written because i keep missing these memo's
