I don't think people are being honest about that situation. Stanford isn't going to lower their standards or requirements to get competitive in the NIL era. Michigan did it but I just cannot see Stanford doing it. And frankly even before NIL was official, Stanford had major recruiting issues because they simply could not compete (under the table $) with other schools. That plays a MAJOR role in Shaw's record falling off a cliff but people would rather run with "black coach is stupid haha." Not saying the Coli does that but it's a standard reaction to black coaches the minute they start struggling.

It was time. Taylor absolutely needed to be fired.

Luck has been saying/doing all of the right things but unless he figures out the NIL thing it's not going to be possible to get us back to the heights we reached with Harbaugh/Shaw.

Not sure about head coach but would like to see Pep involved someway.
