I watch pretty much anything David Simon & Pelecanos puts their names on, so I don't care that it has nothing to do with The Wire

It's a 90's police procedural network drama. It's nothing like the wire IMO.

Big mistake having this take place in Baltimore.
People are gonna go in thinking its the wire, comparing it to the wire, expecting things to be just like the wire.

They should shoot it just like The Wire. Just a different story. Shieeet they should write it where some parts can be connected to the wire world.
Like Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad.

Plus this based on real people, IDK if they're gonna use real names or not but throwing real people in the wire "universe" aint really the thing to do.
And i love the wire but its over and done and needs to not be touched
