Giving techs for any sign of emotion, fining players for criticising refs, he wanted to control the players, he absolutely HATED that late 90s early 00s streetball era with flashy plays and zero fukks given.
you watch the footage from 80s nba or early 90s and a lotta players were badass, this current era has that professional feel like everyone respectful to each other, I mean good for them, they are making big money...but its like watching good technical wrestling matches with guys who got zero mic skills, it feels like the part of the game is missing
