GSW gonna take your players, your bytches and your money...

They reached out to West the same night OKC knocked out the Spurs

Damn. Wasted no time

He is a perfect fit for the roster though, both on and off the floor

Lol, he doesn't fit ANYTHING this team needed. David West ain't gonna block no shots.

Uh yes he does. West is an elite mid range shooter, one of the better passers at the position, sets good screens, has a good post up game and is a tremendous teammate. This is a guy who goes to war for his guys and asserts himself as a leader in the lockeroom. Let someone try to fukk with Curry or Durant.

The Warriors do need more rim protection, but that doesn't mean he won't be very valuable for them. He should be more reliable than Festus actually.

He gave the Spurs nothing useful in the playoffs.....

I would have said the West of 2-3 years ago would have been a decent addition.....

Neither did Duncan or Diaw. That OKC frontline was historically dominant

West was good against the Grizz in the previous round and the regular season. He'll be a clear upgrade over Speights/Festus and give them something they need a lot more than the Spurs last year - veteran leadership, someone to get their head out of their ass when they get too arrogant and complacent.

Well Duncan was a shell no lie....I cant say I remember too much of Diaw's play in that series....which probably means he was indeed a non factor

Which then should have meant that West had an opportunity to give them something

To be honest I cant see him being much use to the Warriors in the playoffs except soaking up some minutes to give their bigs a bit of a breather

Hey, good luck to him. And good luck to Durant.

Still gotta play the games. Chips aren't won on paper.
