i dont understand why people are calling him dumb for signing the contract...do you nikkas understand how the cba works?
if someone else offered max to him after his rookie deal the pelicans would just match anyway :mjlol:

Yeah no way AD...with his injury history...was turning down that money...

He going the Carmelo route huh? :manny:

Hope he saves his money and doesn't lose it to ex-wives.

Kobe's career should've taught EVERYONE, you get your money AND make them build a team around YOU.
The Lakers have a long history of getting stars while giving very little in return. Not everyone is that fortunate. Anyone recall what they gave up to get Kareem or the picks for magic or worthy? Vlade for Kobe? The rights to a second round pick and kwame brown for pau. Andrew Bynum and maybe a role player for Dwight.

This guy is too good.. He might be legit the best player in the league by a slight margin over Bron, Curry and KD. :wow:

dont shed tears for AD this is what he wanted. He would've been an unrestricted free agent last year had he took the QO and could've went anywhere he wanted to.

1) Sign a 1 year RFA offer.
2) leave the following year

or

1) sign a short, 3 year deal like Lebron did after his rookie contract.

Anthony Davis was going to get a long term deal after his RFA no matter what, his injury "concerns" don't really worry anyone.
