Some ol 2001 shyt :scust:

Worst yet, a lot of people still don't understand what this means.

I tried to explain it to a few people and they're just like, "Damn :francis:" and then started trying to talk about some other shyt completely unrelated

These adult attention spans :dead:

I hear ya breh. People take the internet for granted. They don't understand that Comcast wants to turn it into something completely different

Isn't the internet a form of speech? So can this be protected by the amendment?

Nah. Books are a form of speech, but Fedex can charge different rates for transporting different types of books...

This is more in the realm of commercial regulation than first amendment stuff

I agree that aside from legal issues it does harm self-expression on the internet if big corporations get an advantage over small websites though

Greedy over-educated dummies out of touch with reality

They have big budget marketing and advertising departments that struggle to connect with consumers today

They lobby for draconian measures to force their position in the marketplace
They can't compete any other way

This musty stankass ghandi fakkit claims that heavy-handed economic regulations supposedly inflicted on poor Internet service providers by net neutrality (this is complete bullshyt ), could end up disincentivizing companies from wanting to build out Internet access to low-income, urban and rural areas...:gucci:

How are those people in low-income areas going to pay $100 extra for "extreme internet package" which is basically the same fukking access they have now? because that's exactly what folk are going to be forced to do if net neutrality is killed off...

Gotta love how these corporate shills try to spin shyt even when it makes no fukking sense...
