How does the time change affect economics? Genuinely curious because I’ve never heard this


More daylight make more hours in the day for customers/consumers to shop

Summer is the time businesses have the biggest profits. More people hanging out leads to more shopping

As much as I like the extra hour of sleep, I'd rather us stay on the Daylight Savings Time all year round.

I'd much rather have it get dark at 6 PM in the winter time rather than 5 PM.

In 2016, I traveled to India and UAE... in 2018 and 2019 winters I traveled to the Caribbean, and it was such a mood change to have sunset at 6 PM when you're near the equator. Everyday being consistent.

I'll be working from home for the next few months anyway. I guess I'll have to get my outdoor runs in during lunch time or afternoons I don't have meetings.

I was awake when the clocks changed. Didn't feel like it was still 1:00 when I was sleeping. :unimpressed:

And the sun setting around 4:45 isn't something that anyone will ever be into. :unimpressed:

Going to be a long winter. :unimpressed:
