We judge based on what your doing not by what we hope you will do.
Daylyt was bullshyting back then. If he stays this daylyt the one that battled roc then our opinions change.
Otherwise we get what we got with surf vs lux who many of us also didnt want to see because we feared surf doing exactly what he did, not show up.
The nerve to up this like daylyt wasn't completely wasting our time in battles back then smh

He couldve spit those exact same bars he had against Rich/Chilla against anybody in the world.
Those rounds for Roc were crafted specifically fot Roc. This is the first time I've ever heard Daylyt attack his opps the entire battle, not do lyrical exercises that could apply to anybody.

To be fair @Rep Teezy you cannot fault us for all of the bullshyt Daylyt has done to think if he battles Lux, he won't try all kinds of shyt.
Against Real Deal...takes a shyt on stage.
Against Rex....dresses up as Spawn, strips ass naked, and then attempts to take a shyt on stage.
Against Rone....jumps off the stage and leaves mid battle because the bullshyt with Don't Flop.
Against Uno Lavoz...DDTs Lush One.
Against Manaz Ill (Austrailia)...dresses up like Batman.
Against Pat Stay...dresses up like a slave.
Against Dialect (Don't Flop)...strips damn near completely naked.
Against 40 Barrs...whips his ya know what out.
Against Scheme (AHAT)...pale faced make up as another character with a wig on.
And I know there's more....because that's just only the battles.
Little shyt like a Michael Jackson jacket on against Shotty and passing pieces of paper, I didn't mind. Or when he battled Calicoe and tried to get him to pull his card then came out with the "marked out" thing. I mean, those were things I didn't trip on. But what I listed has made me sketchy. Other than that, I've always thought he his a very well thought battle rapper and has good delivery.

Day has had like 100 battles. Law of averages says he SHOULD have at least a few fire three round battles. But his career has been mostly bullshyt antics and laziness.

Daylyt is never really wack in any battle. Pen too elite. And out of those 78 battles he probably only did antics a very small percentage.
Clips, verb, the white dude who he hit with the im a little tea pot joint, Lotta zay, o red, b magic, philly swain, locksmith, thesaurus.. just off the top
Day raps when he feels like it... it isn't like he's wack and occasionally has a dope performance or isn't reaching his potential. He just chooses when he wants to rap and I respect it. Alot of the antics were hilarious and he was still going off in those battles people just don't remember due to fukkery
Daylyt gonna wash lux. I like lux grew up on him but his morals are currently holding him back as far as battle rap goes. Lux can't unload like he will need to to fukk with day. Also rapping about how much of a lost nikka daylyt is wont work. You can't break down a nikka who had a spawn tattoo on his face before face tats were popular. Dude just doesn't give a fukk
