No it's not because that's where Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium come into play. That $20 gets you access to potentially over 100 of those type of older games.

If you buy physical realistically you can still get games at that level of price when they get old. I've seen the last God of War game for under $30 on sale for example.

You used to be able to get them digitally at 20 and below, demon’s souls and rift apart are still $70 just like nintendo.

It doesn't matter what everyone likes. I liked to go to the rental store and pick out a movie to rent. The world moved on from that.

Like I said you can still buy older games cheaper. The latest God of War is $30 on Amazon right now. Or if you want to download it it's likely on PS+ Extra.

Because we literally had them last generation. Who wants to build a legacy collection of games with a subscription service that goes away the second you stop paying for it?

people just want to buy a bunch of old games for cheap, still. Even ps1, ps2, and vita games are available to buy for cheap

I haven’t been able to repeat it after, some peopel were saying they could link multiple cashapp accounts (like say, if you link your girls account) you could get another 10 off.
