Anybody here into day trading?

I just got funded this past Thursday and I'm already up around 3k. Something I wish I learned how to do a long time ago.

Anyways, I'm just curious if anybody here is profitable and does it consistently?

I plan on transitioning to swing trading as I continue to grow my account.

Right now I’m using top step but I plan on using more to take advantage. These prop firms are a cheat code.

I’ve never used one but they certainly have their use case. If you haven’t already, learn how to spot and draw support/resistance. Rayner Teo has great videos on this subject.

I day trade futures. Mainly gold to be honest.

I'm not big on trading too many different assets.

I’m with you there, never a good idea to spread yourself too thin. I trade bitcoin and ethereum futures and that’s it.

I tried out the prop firms but really just trade my own account. I might try out the props again

I see you said you’re still learning, how’d you get funded already if you don’t really know how to trade yet? I thought those prop firms made you prove you can trade before they funded you. Or am I misreading your post?

no you pay less than $50 for a fake funded account. i haven't used it yet im still learning on demo's

you have to hit there profit challenge (they do the challenge to filter out non profitable traders)
once you pass that they give you the real money.
once you have the real money they split it 80/20 ( they take 20)
if you can grow the real $5000 to $10000, they reduce their cut to 90-10(you keep 90)
