Word. I told one of my homeys I PC game with to cop it so we could play it together but this nikka is a bum and wont have money for a few days. We should get a crew going. I'm downloading both games now though so I probably wont even be able to get on until tomorrow. I don't have a mic right now though, went through another headset
Are there a bunch of different servers or just one?
there's a bunch of servers. we would need some form of communication to pick the same server and then find each other. we could use steam-chat or something similar. you're probably gonna need a map (and some orienteering skills) to figure out where you're at. this is a good one:

I just look at it with my craptop while I play on my desktop, but I know a lot of people put it in the steam overlay browser, or their regular browser, and just shift/alt-tab to see it. after awhile you won't need that map anymore (you can find an ingame map and after awhile you actually recognize the landmarks), but it's pretty essential in the beginning
nah, you have to find each other. if you're a new character, with nothing to lose, you can just kill yourself until it spawns you near your peeps. otherwise you might be in for a hike just to find your peeps
it kinda goes along with the idea of a 'persistent mod'. your character and position is saved across different servers. if you log out some place on one server, you'll log back into the same location on a different server. so any grouping mechanism would involve 'teleporting' that would break the immersion of that. we'll see if they implement some kind of grouping mechanism in the future. the way it is now there's all these shenanigans where people will "server-hop" to exploit various mechanics. you'll shoot at them, they'll log off that server, go to another server, get behind your position, log back onto your server... I think you see where this is going. it's an issue they're currently trying to deal with

Man this shyt is fukking HARD! I went into like 4 lootable houses and found NO fukking weapons. Only ammo. 
I was super sneaky for like 45 minutes getting this shyt, then I aggro one god damn zombie and get killed

I died again lastnight. got back in, derped around, and found a tent with m107 and a silenced m4
When do you play? I need you to show me some tips..pause
I usually play later, after 6 or so, but sometimes I play earlier. I might play a little now to get my character closer to the shore, cause I'm way up north

Too funny.
The main dude talkin was creepy as hell. Sounded like one of those crazy Joker followers from TDK. Wouldn't have trusted him either.
But this game really shows the worst of humanity. It's not like the TV shows.
yeah, a lot of it is just people having fun though. I'd like to think 'real life' wouldn't be quite as bad as this game
lastnight I was hitting up the deer-stands north of Kamenka. when I passes Kamenka I saw zombies around, so I knew there was a player somewhere. right when I got to the ladder of the deer-stand, I heard what sounded like a 50 cal shot aimed right at me. I hit the dirt, and then heard another shot that sounded like it was going in a different direction. I was shytting my pants, crawling away, while looking back for the sniper (thank you Arma 2 engine). then I saw someone in the distance. it looked like his back was to me, so I got brave, crouched and put my DMR scope on him. sure enough I saw a player with a long gun running away from me. he was about 400-500 meters away, and I took the shot. I hit him and saw the blood start pouring out. he got prone and tried to get into cover, but I finished him with another shot. then I ran over there to loot his body. on the way I saw a dead zombie, then when I got to his body, he had a double-barreled shot-gun. he wasn't even shooting at me. oh well, I probably would have shot his ass anyway.
